Postdoctoral Fellowships in History of Medicine at the University of Glasgow

The University of Glasgow has announced a major investment in post-doctoral fellowships. The School of Social and Political Sciences welcomes applications from historians of medicine, and prospective applicants are encouraged to contact Malcolm Nicholson for more information.

Applications are particularly welcome in the fields of 19th or 20th century medicine, and/or history of psychiatry.  The Centre for the History of Medicine is part of the Economic and Social History Subject Area and has strong links with the Institute for Health and Wellbeing and the Centre for Medical Humanities.  Applicants would be expected to be able to make a contribution to research and, subsequently, teaching in those areas, interpreted broadly.
