cropBrain Awareness Week, from the 11th- 17th of March, is an annual global campaign to increase public awareness of the progress and benefits of brain research. There are all sorts of events happening across the country to showcase and celebrate UK neuroscience, including some fun and fascinating activities being run by researchers at eight Wellcome Trust-funded centres as part of the Wonder season.

We’ve decided to do our bit for BAW by bringing you a series of Wellcome Trust films about brains, neuroscience and mental health. From dissections to deciphering MRI, the films reveal the broad spectrum of brain science research in the UK, and bring you face to face with the people who most rely on its success.

We’ll be publishing a film a day, everyday this week, but you can also watch all these films and more on the Wellcome Trust and Wellcome Collection YouTube Channels.
