Hatfield College wishes to appoint three Junior Research Fellows for the academic year 2013-14, ideally one from each of the University’s three Faculties.
Applications are open to anyone who is already a post-doctoral research assistant at the University and who is expecting to remain in post until the end of the academic year.
Applicants are invited to write to the Master of Hatfield College, Professor Tim Burt, by 1 November 2013 with a CV and letter of application. Applicants may be interviewed before a final decision is made.
Hatfield College will provide each JRF £250 to support research expenses and two free meals a week during term time. Those appointed will be asked to become College Mentors for students in the Hatfield MCR and to contribute one session to the College’s programme of scholarly activity.
Applicants are invited from any discipline but they may wish to know that College has a formal link to the Durham Global Security Institute and runs the following research forums: forgiveness and reconciliation; religious understanding; environment. The Junior Research Fellows appointed will automatically become members of Hatfield College SCR.
