Happy Birthday to the History of Emotions Blog

The History of Emotions blog is one year old this week, and to mark the occasion the editors have put together a series of mini-posts asking ‘What is the history of emotions?’

The first one draws together some of the most useful online resources and recommended introductory readings, while the second offers a dozen different views of the field by members and associates of the Queen Mary Centre. They have also listed the Top Ten most-read posts during the first twelve months of the blog.

If you’d like to contribute your own couple of paragraphs on ‘What is the history of emotions, and why does it matter?’, for inclusion in a follow-up post, please email Thomas Dixon.

On behalf of everyone at the Centre for Medical Humanities, congratulations again on the first anniversary of a really wonderful blog.
